Social Nights are always a fun time at RHLTC!

Monday Night Socials: 7 pm - 9 pm
Typically runs every Monday unless otherwise noted.

The club offers an enjoyable social tennis evening every Monday night between 7 and 9 pm. If you sign up below in one of the 48 available spots, you are guaranteed to play two half hour matches with social breaks in between. You may play more on evenings when less than 48 members attend.

Matches are set up by our monitors with the goal of trying to put players of similar ability together, but also to vary opponents and partners so that you are all able to meet and play with many members. It is strictly friendly tennis. Scores are kept while playing but are not recorded. You need to be able to rally the ball with a little bit of consistency before attending. If you are a true beginner, you should sign up for group or private lessons before attending social night.  

Once the 48 spots have filled up, players will go onto a waitlist. Members may cancel up to 24 hours before. When a cancellation occurs, players on the waitlist will automatically move up to a spot. Any player who does not cancel one day ahead and fails to attend, will incur a two-week penalty and will not be able to attend social night for the following two weeks. We want to ensure that you intend to play if you sign up and do not take a spot away from a player that would have attended. 

To cancel, go to the event page (listed below), click on "already registered" and that will give you the option of cancelling.

Sign up sheets will be opened every Monday evening for the following social night.  Please indicate your accurate rating level and do not overestimate your skill level. You can figure out your rating by reading the NTRP chart.  This helps us to put you with players of a similar level and makes it more enjoyable for all.

Note that August 22 Monday Socials are cancelled due to House League playoffs.
