  1. If you are planning to play drop-in tennis, check the online calendar to ensure that courts are not booked for organized activities. Play will be regulated with the tag board. Please review the tag board rules if you are not familiar with them.
  2. If you are waiting for a court, you must wait OUTSIDE the property. Maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres between yourself and anyone not from your household. No spectators are allowed at any time inside the property. Do not sit on benches, bleachers, tables or the brick wall.
  3. When a court becomes available, walk onto the court making sure to stay a minimum of 2 metres away from any players that you are passing.
  4. Wash your hands thoroughly and clean your equipment before you come to play. Please bring with hand sanitizer to use regularly on court changes.
  5. The club house will remain closed. We suggest you use washroom facilities before coming to the court. We have been told that City washrooms will be available and they are located behind the club house. You must wear a mask to enter City washrooms.
  6. Bring your own water to avoid having to go into City washrooms or in case they are not accessible for some reason. There are no water facilities on club property.

As you play

  1. Stay two metres away from your opponent; do not shake hands.
  2. If balls from other courts come on to your court, please pass them back with your racquet and avoid touching them with your hands.
  3. Avoid touching your face after handling a ball, racquet or other equipment
  4. Do not touch nets, posts or the fence. If you wish to sit between games you must bring your own chair and ensure it's safely distant from other players.
  5. Court changes should occur at opposite sides of the net, taking care of maintaining social distancing with your partner and players in the adjacent courts.

After you play

  1. Leave the courts Immediately and safely as you head to the exit. Pass other players with at least 2 metres of distance between you.
  2. Take any garbage with you to dispose of safely. You may throw garbage into the large industrial bins located in the parking lot. Please do not throw any garbage into the bin inside the courts.
