Inter County Tennis - Doubles

The RHLTC is a member of the Inter County Tennis Association (ICTA). The clubs top players compete for 14 weeks, traveling to surrounding clubs (7 home and 7 away matches). Tryouts for our Inter County teams are held in April of each year and players are selected based on skill level. 

We still have a few spots open on some teams.

Details 

The Mixed League teams play on Tuesday (Majors & B) and Thursday nights (A & C) starting at 7:00 PM. Twelve players are required for each fixture: eight men and four women. At each mixed league match, there are six matches played (best of three sets) 3 men's doubles, 2 mixed and one ladies doubles. Teams are generally grouped according to geographic location. In majors, a bonus point is awarded for fielding a full team.

The Ladies League is played on Wednesday mornings. Each fixture consist of four doubles matches.

The Plus 55 Mixed League plays on Thursday mornings starting at 10:00 AM. Each fixture consists of 3 matches (best of three sets), a men's doubles, ladies' doubles and a mixed doubles.

Independent Ladies League - plays Thursday Morning  

The Boys/Girls Jr. Inter County League plays on Saturday mornings from 9:30 - 1 PM. There are 9 single and doubles matches played by 6 to 12 junior players.
